Hi there! I’m Tariq Khan, a passionate introvert who enjoys building things with code.

My journey into programming began at 17 during secondary school. I was fascinated by computer-animated TV shows like Minions and initially aimed to become a “computer graphics” or “VFX artist.” However, I ended up in a BSc IT program where I received a daunting C++ reference book. Despite its complexity, writing programs in C++ sparked my interest.

Years later, I ventured into learning Python, which was a transformative experience. I vividly recall watching The Price is Right and pondering the statistical strategies behind a contestant landing on 0.70.

It dawned on me that I could build simulations. I quickly crafted a Python script to run thousands of simulations, unveiling insights previously beyond my reach. Since then, I’ve delved into JavaScript and completed an intensive Web Development Bootcamp. Now, I’m eager to contribute to a company’s success in a full-time role.
